PROGRAM SYNOPSIS
Leader as Coach is a new series of action-learning coach training targeted at managers and leaders who want to sharpen and advance their coaching skills to become more effective Coaches.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This course:
- Is comprehensive and covers practical coaching skills
- Exceeds the required number of training hours for AC Recognised Leader as Coach
- Is underpinned by the AC coaching competency framework
- Uses BRIEF Model with the Solution Focused Approach, based on a strength-based process of shifting the focus from one of problem orientation to one of solutions and success
- Includes supervision, reflective learning and practical assessment
- Self-study includes a variety of activities to support participants' learning and development
- Is delivered by a highly experienced team of tutors
- Incorporates coaching skills practice outside of the class training

At the end of the program, you will be awarded a Leader as Coach Certificate. Completion of this program can count towards qualifying requirement of the Certified Solution Focused Coach program accredited by the Canadian Council of Professional Certification.
