Dr Ronald Warner

Dr Ronald Warner, Psychologist, Canada is Program Director of the Solution Focused Counseling Program and Adjunct Professor at the University of Toronto Psychology Program, He is also Professor Emeritus at the Ryerson University and Adjunct Professor in the Queens University Department of Family Medicine.

He is the Chief Examiner for the Certified Solution Focused Therapist, Practitioner and Coach specialty designation offered by the Canadian Council of Professional Certification (CCPC Global).

Haesun Moon

Haesun is an experienced educator and a practicing coach. Haesun’s passion for organization building and community development united with solution-focused approaches in her graduate work. In her private practice, she provides corporate training including the Power of Perspective Series, a solution-focused coaching program (www.solution-focused.ca), and she contributes to the SF community by building evidence-based practice resources and organizing a Canadian network of SF practitioners.

Dr Peter Szabo

Peter Szabo has a Doctor of Law degree, is a Master Certified Coach and Trainer from Switzerland. He is founder and Managing Partner of Solution Surfers, the largest coaching school in Switzerland. He also teaches coaching at several European Universities. He coaches individuals and corporate clients on management and life issues.

Peter is a brilliant and imaginative trainer, and is a highly regarded member of the ICF (International Coach Federation) coach accreditation panel. Peter is co-author with Insoo Kim Berg of Brief Coaching for Lasting Solutions, perhaps the most comprehensive book on Solution Focused Coaching and considered by some to be one of the best books on coaching today.

Dr Ben Furman

Dr Ben Furman (MD) – Ben is a well-renowned Psychiatrist, Psychotherapist, author and co-Director of the Helsinki Brief Therapy Institute He has developed programs like ReTeaming, Twinstar and Kid’s Skills. He hosts his own TV show, teaches, writes and is an internationally acclaimed lecturer famous for his skills in explaining even complex issues in a fun and popular way.

He has also worked with corporations and businesses and uses the Solution Focused approach in creating and improving the psychological environment of the workplace.

Paul Z Jackson

Paul Z Jackson is an inspirational consultant, designer, facilitator and coach. As a journalist, a senior producer with BBC Radio and as the founder of the More Fool Us improvisation comedy team, he has prompted a lot of laughter, on-stage and off, mostly intentionally. A graduate of Oxford University (MA, Oxon), and contributor to scholarly publications, his books include Impro Learning, 58½ Ways to Improvise in Training and The Inspirational Trainer.

Paul has delighted audiences at many conferences and seminars. With a background in comedy and acting, he brings humor and drama to his talks. He is co-author of the ground-breaking book, The Solutions Focus – Making Coaching & Change SIMPLE, rated as one of the Top 30 business books of the year in the USA. Paul draws on his experiences in consulting, coaching, improvisational comedy and drama, his work in journalism and the BBC, to create impactful, story-rich presentations that relate to your organizational needs.

Janine Waldman

Janine Waldman is an executive coach, consultant and facilitator. She has trained numerous managers, in–house and professional coaches in the Solutions Focus approach in the UK and abroad. Janine has coached managers and designed and facilitated workshops for clients including Tesco, Abbey, United Technologies Corporation, Merton Borough Council, Greater Manchester Police and London Metropolitan Police. A certified business coach, Janine is a Visiting Lecturer on post-graduate programmes at Birkbeck University and Westminster University, and presents at international conferences.

Following a master’s degree in Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management at LSE, Janine led organizational development programmes in both the public and private sectors. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD), she has held senior management positions in organizations including Fisher & Paykel Healthcare (New Zealand) and Reliance Security Services.

Michael Durrant

Founder and Director of the Brief Therapy Institute of Sydney. A psychologist with an international reputation in Solution-focused Brief Therapy, Michael has consulted to counselling/therapy agencies and teams in Australia and overseas and has presented professional development workshops in North America, Europe & Southeast Asia. Michael is also Honorary Academic Associate in the Faculty of Education and Social Work at the University of Sydney, where he is involved in the training of School Counsellors (educational psychologists). He has been a Consultant to the State of Georgia (USA) Department of Human Services on strength-based approaches to child and adolescent treatment and is an occasional consultant to the IFSO program, Spastic Centre of NSW (an intensive, in-home program, using Solution-Focused Brief Theraoy with families with a child or adolescent with a disability).

Michael has published a number of books and professional articles. His books Residential Treatment (about \"competency-based\" approaches to adolescent treatment) and Creative Strategies for School Problems (both published by W. W. Norton & Co, New York) have been translated into German, French, Dutch and Japanese.
